Happy to announce that I have taken on a new role as Editor of Visual Communication, an international journal on all aspects of visual and multimodal communication published with Sage Publishers.
While I have been part of the team since 2017, I used to work as an Associate Editor to my colleague Janina Wildfeuer (Groningen) before, helping with the journal re-branding and acting as Janina’s maternal leave cover for a couple of months. Thanks and all the best to Elisabetta Adami (Leeds), Morten Boerris (Odense), Gunhild Kvale (Agder), and Francisco Veloso, who I got towork with during the first three years as an Associate Editor, and who are pursueing further exciting projects now.
Since autumn 2020, Visual Communication has a new team now and I act an Editor responsible for reviewing newly submitted paper proposals and and handling the double-blind peer-reviewing process. Beyond excited to be working with the new team:
